We have struggled to get any meaningful internet connection for the last week, so our Song of the Week has been delayed. However, without any further ado, we present the Turnpike Troubadours, a gritty country-rock band, formed in 2007, with a knack for vivid storey telling, this Oklahoma ouitfit was instrumental in bringing the Red Dirt sound to the mainstream.
Our choice is their Good Lord Lorrie song from their 2012 album Goodbye Normal Street. There is just something about this song that tantalises our musical senses, and we hope you get the vibe!
