Eleven Hundred Springs are a Texan band formed in 1998 in Dallas and their music captivated me some years back when I heard a song called Hank Williams’ Wouldn't Make it now in Nashville Tennessee from their second album Bandwagon, released in 2004. And how true they were! Sadly, their ‘online’ presence is limited and there is not much more I can tell you!
Suffice to say the song lies at position No. 8 of 14 tracks and splits the ‘two sides’ nicely. However, there is something I wou;d like to mention, that being that the song name checks two of my all time favourite country artists. The aforementioned Hank and one Ingram Cecil Connor III, aka Gram Parsons ( he of Wild Horses by the Stones, alledgedly!) In the song, The boys mention a Gram song that also happens to be my favourite and, no doubt will feature here soon!

Anyway, let's get to it and gently lower that stylus into the first groove of track 8…..
