Two days away…

As the hiatus continues and we have another week before we get Iona back on the road, we decided to spend a few nights in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife. Due to our old age, we could travel by bus for free, so we travelled to Anstruther via Dundee and St Andrews.

When we arrived at 14:15 on Tuesday, the sun was out, the air was warm, and the sea air invigorating! Bliss. However, as we were leaving Glasgow, the van centre called to say that Iona was ready for collection! Oh well, she will have to wait a few more days!

We enjoyed two lovely days in Anstruther. The weather stayed sunny and warm, which was great. Our chosen hotel, The Waterfront, was central, facing the harbour, and clean and comfortable. We are now home again and collecting Iona tomorrow, so watch this space….
