British Winter Time……

With British Summer Time ending yesterday, October 26th, we are entering shorter days and much longer nights. And so, with this in mind, we are setting out on our first trip of the winter 2025 tomorrow. In particular terms, this means that the sun sets at around 16:45, having left behind only 9 hours of ‘daylight’! The result of this shortening of our day is that we have less time to travel from A to B, find somewhere to pitch up (most campsites have now closed or are closing at the end of October), set up Iona in ‘night mode’ and enjoy a pleasant evening stroll to a local pub or restaurant!
However, unperturbed, we are setting out on a short five-day adventure, and as usual, we have no intended destination. We let fate take a hand here! We intend to post the usual photos and the like while we are away, and hopefully, with some sunshine, we may be lucky and catch some lovely autumnal shots. Watch this space, thanks,
