And the beat goes on…..

After a few days in Markinch in Fife, we moved further north to a fairly regular stopover: The Larick campsite in Tayport. As it happened, our stay coincided with the arrival of high winds and heavy rain, so we brought Iona’s pop-up roof down before we set off for a walk to the shops and Cobbies Inn, about 15 minutes through the town.

On our way back, the rain started in earnest, and the wind picked up. By about 22:00, the gusts were around 61 mph, but we were warm and toasty in the van, snuggled up for the night.

As we left Cobbies Inn, we noticed this abandoned 1989 VW van in a garden. We hope it provided as much joy to someone as Iona does for us!
