And so it goes! We decided to head north for a few days and enjoy the shorter days with a hiatus back home! The first stop was Dunkeld, and we had a great evening in the Perth Arms Hotel before visiting the Scottish Deli for a lovely tapas meal.
We awoke to winter sun and headed north to Dalwhinnie, where we enjoyed a fabulous evening at the Dalwhinnie Lodge in the company of a couple headed to the Aviemore Folk Festival and the indomitable Jo and Andy, wur hosts! Many drams later, i.e. at about half three in the morning, we bade each other a good night!
Next up was a visit to Pitlochry; however, we stopped at a loch north of the town for lunch. After eating, I decided to take the drone for a spin around the Loch. All went well for a few minutes, but then I noticed that my control was not as it should have been. In hindsight, it was probably the adjacent trees; however, as I brought the drone "home", it started to misbehave! And the rest is history, or should I say "awful"! Suffice to say, I ended up waist-deep in the frozen Loch wading out to retrieve my demented drone!
Here is what was recorded:
Good use of illiterates there. That's the problem with tech, if it goes wrong it does it big. Can it be dried out and saved?
